Commemorated on August 22nd every year since 1993, "Be an
Angel Day" is a warm invitation for everyone to "do one
small act of service for someone; be a blessing in someone's
life," as stated in the holiday's slogan. This religious, though
non- denominational observance encourages people to do as angels would
in serving others and God. The occasion calls for performing acts of
consideration and good will for the benefit of particular individuals
and within the greater community. Be an angel to an elderly or
handicapped person by helping him or her cross the street, pick up
mail for a friend or neighbor who is away or ill, feed the
neighborhood stray cat, or give your time and resources to a
charitable cause or organization. Celebrate "Be an Angel
Day" by being a positive force in someone else's life, if only
for a moment.
Your activities as an angel can take any form you choose, from very
casual acts such as helping someone struggling with a heavy bag,
adding some coins to a meter that is running low, and holding the door
open for whoever you see approaching an entrance, to more involved
activities like volunteering regularly at a soup kitchen, community
outreach program, or hospital. Open your heart to the people around
you, even if it is through anonymous actions, and watch the impetus to
do something for the benefit of others, no matter how simple, spread
like fire. Be an angel by extending a helping hand and offering a kind
word when the circumstances call for it. If you are on the receiving
end of an angel's work, today is the day for honoring them as well.
Show your gratitude for the special people that are always looking out
for your best interest and never seem to miss a beat when it comes to
your needs and happiness. Find your personal "angel" and
thank them for being just that.

There was a time when my next door neighbor and I didn’t even
speak to each other and went to careful lengths to avoid one another.
It wasn’t always like that. When I first moved in, we got along very
well. Then I got dogs. I didn’t think they’d care since they
always had dogs. However, it seemed that my dogs only wanted to go to
the bathroom at the exact point where our yards met – right outside
the back porch she had recently added. So, each day when they sat out
to eat their lunch on their back porch, they got hit with the stench
of my dogs having done their business. No matter how frequently I
cleaned it up, it didn’t seem to make a difference. It was a hot
summer and it was nauseating to them. There were words said and it
just seemed that after that, the pickiness snowballed to the point of
not even speaking. I felt alienated and intimidated and resentful all
at the same time.

Angel Wisdom ~ Signs |

Power
"You now allow yourself to express your power. Being powerful
is safe for you, knowing that you express your power with love.
You have all of the power of your Creator within you! All the power
of Divine love, wisdom, and intelligence is available to you. You have
the spiritual power to see angels and the future. You have
intellectual power to tap in to the universal wisdom of the One Mind.
You have emotional power to empathize with others, and physical power
that is truly unlimited.
The angels ask you to give them any fears you may have connected
with being a powerful person. Your angels see a quiet and beautiful
aspect of your true power, stemming from the only power in the
universe: Divine love. Allow yourself to shine with this radiant love
so that your true power can radiate out into the world in miraculous
ways.

As part of my contribution for this month's "Be an Angel
Day" on August 22nd, I'm offering the following sites that are
some of my favorites that quite possibly might make your life a little
easier and even more fun. Not all of them have to do with angels but I
can assure you, the angels sent them to me!!
Modest
Needs I have watched this site grow almost from it's inception.
It's one man's answer to helping his fellow humans who sometimes find
themselves in unforeseen financial predicaments. I encourage each and
every one of you to go and read through this entire site and help
where you can. Likewise, if you are struggling with an unexpected
expense, go see what they might be able to do for you. THE BEST part
of this entire site, I just found today in fact, is a free course
entitled: "Fiscal Fitness". Take the course and learn about
your relationship with money and how you might hang on to it better.
Real
Simple This is a fun site packed full of useful ideas and tips for
regular life. One of my favorite parts is the section about "tag
sales" (aka: yard sales). Experts offer very detailed lists of
things you might sell and what you should charge for them. For the men
of Trinity-- this site is sponsored by Lowe's and there are tons and
tons of useful ideas for the home as well!
Catherina
Rodrigues This site is owned by a special lady with a dedication
to the creation of world peace through something fundamental that we
can ALL do: love one another. I love the logo and the sentiment and
the whole shebang. Soon I'll be offering sterling silver "think
love" bracelets for sale here on Trinity. It's something each of
us need to hold ourselves to. It's not difficult. Let's try it. (Best
of all, it's contagious.)
Turquoise
Angel I would be remiss if I didn't mention one of my favorite
angel artists and her site! If you love whimsy and bright, beautiful
colors, visit here! I love her greeting cards and have used them often
in my own personal life whenever I want something totally unique and
special to send someone!
A
House for my Kids I heard about this man over the radio and so
visited his site and it touched my heart. If you like gospel music, go
and take a listen and do what you can, even if it's just to offer
prayer. After all...we all ready know that prayer can move mountains.
I'm sure it can build a house as well!

Sometimes in life it's important to take time out from whatever it
is that's your passion and regroup. Most of you are aware that for the
past several years, my life has had many twists and turns. Trinity
sometimes has had to take a back seat to other things, but I assure
you, my love for you and for the angels never has. I dare say that all
of the metamorphosis in my personal life is in actuality, a necessary
part of the next phase of Trinity. All of us learn from adversity,
whether we want to admit it or not, and over the past five years, I've
learned through some large life lessons!
In a way, I feel like God has taken me back to the faith I had eons
ago when I began to write my book, Silent Prayer. In it, I chronicled
exactly what took place when I literally had no choice but to hold on
to The Blessed Mother for dear life. There was nothing else I could
do. The result became miracle after miracle culminating in the birth
of the greatest joy of all, my daughter, Casey and subsequently, the
birth of Trinity Angels.
Over the past years, I've had to step back into the "holding
on for dear life" roll again. At the time I didn't realize it,
but I know now that it was all because of this site and my genuine
desire to make it bigger and better than ever before.

With each passing day the gathering storm clouds that threaten
the lives of humankind darken. Every effort to stave off the
inevitable and achieve lasting peace has failed. Perhaps it is
time for us to adopt a new game plan?
----------------------------------------
The recent flare-up of hostilities in the Middle East comes as
no surprise. As any Boy Scout or forest ranger will attest,
smoldering embers can easily erupt into a raging inferno when
fanned by even a gentle breeze. Separating the antagonists by
means of a politically negotiated settlement has nothing
whatsoever to do with peace, despite the flowery rhetoric and
well-meaning intentions of those who believe otherwise.
Millions of people all around the globe pray for peace, light
peace candles, hold peace vigils, conduct meetings, and issue
peace proclamations. The UN Security Council declares resolutions
for peace. But still hostilities sprout all around us like
mushrooms after a rain. These efforts have failed, and they will
surely continue to fail so long as peace is their objective. For
peace is not a commodity to be brokered or haggled over, nor is it
a state that can ever be achieved between two dissenting parties.
Peace is nothing more (or less) than a by-product of love. So long
as the true love that leads to the realization that we are all One
remains undiscovered, there can only be separation – the
bridgeless void that divides us and them.
