When I was born we had a German Shepherd who became my best friend. He
passed away when he was about 12 years old. ( I think anyway).
He always used to look after me. I would like to know if he is with me
still as I do remember him and I want him to know that I still think
of him and that I love him.

Your question made my heart smile! I am SUCH a dog lover, it's crazy.
Currently I have three but before this bunch I've had others.

My answer to you is a resounding YES YES YES!! Did you know that animals
are the closest thing to God's love on earth? If you think about it, how
many of them want a single thing other than our love and to offer us love?

I believe your beloved friend is with you continually and if you simply ask
for it, he will let you know with simple signs. I think about my own
animals from childhood and know they are with me 100%. The easiest sign is
that you get that same feeling of intense love that you had when they were
on this earth. They are still here, just in a different form. Although
animals are not angels and they do not become angels when they cross over,
they ARE very much guardians to their owners and loved ones and that
continues forever until we make our transition to the other side.

I can only imagine how crowded it will be when it's my time! hee hee.

I have believed and trusted in the spiritual realms since a little
girl, in the last two years I have had three spiritual guides give me
readings - all of them excellent and accurate with their details and the same
future events predicted by them all - however some things are
unfolding as they said, many other things have gone completely the other way and
I feel incredibly disappointed - both physically and spiritually, I
don't under stand why I have been given the same information as was
intended spiritually for me to know at that time and then later when it clearly
is not what was foretold to be so so disappointed - why would I be
told all that information, confirmed on three occasions - and to be so
spiritually let down when I am such a believer - I feel not to ask my
own angels anymore as I do not know what to trust as right - please
guide, with thanks for all you do - WW"

First, I really do understand your disappointment. I've experienced
this as well as countless others.

What you need to try to remember is that no psychic is 100% accurate.
We may offer you the same advice and predictions as another person but
ultimately it is you who is in control of your destiny. You are a spiritual being
living a human existence and as such, you have predestined "lessons" you are here
on earth at this particular time to learn BUT as the saying goes, "Life
happens"...which is to say there are always outside influences that can
alter our pathway in some shape or form.

As I'm certain you understand, things and situations in our lives
change; there are outside influences, spiritual blockages, unexpected detours,
familial intervention...I could go on and on.

It is my feeling that your life's path has changed a bit. Remember that
it is you who are ultimately in control and it's up to you to not be a
bystander in your own life just waiting for predictions to come true. I do not mean
this in any way to sound like this is what you are doing. I just mean to be
careful to avoid doing this.

My mother always uses an expression that at times I find particularly
infuriating, "God helps those who help themselves". (It's true
actually, but I still don't like to hear it, especially those times I'm feeling
discouraged.) Maybe you should take some stock and try to figure out if
there is anything you may have inadvertently done along the way that was the
root cause of things not going according to what they said?

Another caution. Just because psychics all come up with the same
prediction does not necessarily mean they are going to come true. As a psychic, I
can tell you that the biggest tool in any reading is the person being read
for. It's possible these are deep seeded ideal or dreams that you wish would
ultimately happen. A psychic could very well pick up on that and use it
in a reading.

Please do not shut your angels out as they are the purest method of help
in this situation. Ask them for what you need and be very specific. Ask
them to help you uncover why your hopes and dreams have not panned out exactly
as you have wished. Be certain to identify to them exactly what your dreams
and hopes have been and thank them in advance. The angels will not fail
you....but you must be open to receive their help.

I would consider myself to be a very spiritual person and open to all
aspects of life and beyond life. I have been blessed to see numerous
miracles within my lifetime so far, but one thing has me curious.... a
lot of people see orbs, (which i do too), but I see solid black entities
as well. Some have taken form in such that it is like a ghost, but once
I had one completely engulf my kitchen ceiling and blackened out the 500
watts of light, run down the wall, knocked the calendar off the wall and
just disappeared. Are these black figures from the dark side? I have
also had white light hovering over me when I slept one night...my
roommate had witnessed this and told me the next morning. I feel like
there is a fight for my soul is the best way I can describe it. What do
you think this means?

Can you tell me if I have been visited by an Angel in my dream. If so who is this heavenly being.

I dreamed of meeting a beautiful tall slim dark skinned stranger, shoulder length hair and naked to the waist. He did not speak. I was holding in my arms my infant daughter who he lovingly kissed on the cheek.

This beautiful person exuded a powerful and absolute feeling of LOVE.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful experience with us! The calling card of an angelic visitation is always a lasting feeling of immense peace and love!

My first thought upon reading about your visitation is that this may have been your daughter's spirit guide. Since I was not actually inside the dream with you, it's nearly impossible for me to tell you with certainty, WHO, it was. I can, however, offer that it was in fact, a real visitation.

Angels often come to us in our dreams and will take on any appearance that we will accept and not be frightened of. The could also have been your daughter's guardian. The reason I suggest it being a spirit guide is only because in my experience, guides are usually of some type of ethnic persuasion other than our own.

Either way, you can be assured this was an actual visitation and it was to let you know both you and your daughter are very much loved and cared for.

"How come whenever I pray to the angels or ask them a question (always in Jesus' name) or just talk to them I start to yawn? sometimes i yawn to the point of tears. I also yawn when i ask the lord or the angels to clear me of all fear or negativity. This has been happening to me for years and never knew why (the yawning). sometimes the yawning will last a few minutes. sometimes it last longer or less. do you have any idea why I yawn. Is this their way of communicating with me?? Thank you.."

Yours is a really wonderful question and believe it or not, it is not uncommon. My first impression when I read your email was that you probably need to be clearing your heart chakra prior to praying. There is an old wives tale that says that when a person yawns, the spirit leaves the body. In part, this is true but in reverse. If you are unfamiliar with Chakras...there are tons of wonderful books out there and even websites where you can go an learn more.

Here is a brief overview:
"At the inner core of each one of us spin seven wheel-like energy centers called chakras.
Chakras are centers of activity for the reception, assimilation, and transmission of vital life energies. Together the seven chakras form a profound formula for wholeness, linking our physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual selves into one indivisible whole. As seven vibratory modalities of spiritual existence, they are a means of crossing the archetypal Rainbow Bridge, which is the mythical connection between Heaven and Earth." It seems to me that you have two areas at work here, the fifth and the fourth Chakra. Here is an explanation of those:

Chakra Five:
Sound, Creative identity, oriented to self-expression
This is the chakra located in the throat and is thus related to communication and creativity. Here we experience the world symbolically through vibration, such as the vibration of sound representing language.

Chakra Four:
Air, Social identity, oriented to self-acceptance
This chakra is called the heart chakra and is the middle chakra in a system of seven. It is related to love and is the integrator of opposites in the psyche: mind and body, male and female, persona and shadow, ego and unity. A healthy fourth chakra allows us to love deeply, feel compassion, have a deep sense of peace and centeredness

I think it would really make good sense for you to study up on Chakra Clearing because I absolutely believe you are communicating with the angels and with the Blessed Mother and Jesus among other spirits and celestial beings and they are communicating back to you.

Also, yawning is a refex action that is highly contagious. I yawn every single time I read your question (and laugh at myself while I'm doing it). It can be a habitual behavior as well. For instance, every single time I go to a certain store, I end up having to use the restroom before I can shop. For whatever reason, that place sends a silent signal to my body that I have to go to the ladies room! It can be the same thing with you and your yawning.

This is why I think if you learn to truly clear yourself prior to prayer, it will stop. This absolutely does not mean your communing will stop. It will become clearer and you will feel the love in your heart as a signpost that you are being heard and answered. I promise!

Months ago a beautiful lady from Singapore wrote to ask me about some orbs she had photographed in her room just after meditation. I thought they were such spectacular photos, I asked for permission to publish them here for all to see. They were captured with a simple digital camera. I adore the one she took out the window of the lights that transformed into tiny angels! As you may realize, images captured digitally are practically impossible to alter. I believe these are authentic. Thank you Cecelia for allowing me to post your angels!

In May, I got in touch with a breeder of Persians who kept me on a list for newborn kittens. Just the other day, this breeder emailed me photos of a 4-week old kitten that looks like my Honey Bear did as a kitten. Could this be Honey Bear's reincarnation?

Sweet Lady,

First, you did not fail Honey Bear! From what you have written here, I can feel all of the love you have for your animals and I'm quite certain Honey Bear felt it too. Why else would he have made the effort to come back home to your parking spot? Ask yourself what would you have felt like if he'd not come home? If you had never found him? Or worse, what if he'd died alone on the side of the road?

No, dear lady, he knew you loved him dearly and so he made certain to be where you could find him so that you would both have the closure you needed. I'm sure he came back to thank you for being a wonderful, loving mother. He wanted to cross over with you there, knowing where he was going and knowing he loved you so much he wasn't going to leave without saying goodbye.

While it's possible the new kitten could be Honey Bear's incarnation, it is more likely that this new kitten was sent especially TO you from Honey Bear, so that you would know he's arrived safely and will be waiting for you when it's your time to come home. He knows you are wonderful and loving, just perfect for this kitten.

Dear Alexis:

i have dreams about a guardian angel following me and i get scared and then i find out it is an angel and i want to see it again and i cant.

You don't mention whether you are still dreaming when you are wanting "to see it again and can't". One of the BEST ways to connect with your guardian angel is to keep an Angel journal. It doesn't have to be anything fancy, just a special notebook where you write down your thoughts and feelings about your angel. Sometimes it helps if you write your dream down as soon as you wake up in the morning (so keep the journal and a pen nearby). Write it as if you are still dreaming using the present tense. That means it would go something like this: "I am in a park walking my dog along a row of trees. I feel the urge to look up and when I do, I see a bright yellow light" instead of something like: "In the dream, I was walking my dog along a row of trees when I looked up and saw something." The reason for using the present tense like this is because it can transport you back to the actual dream and help you to put yourself back into the same mode.

You can also use the journal to write letters to your angel asking for more dreams and perhaps even messages you will remember in the morning. If you are diligent about this, you can be assured you will be receiving signs and wonders from your guardian and probably a host of other angels too!

One thing is absolutely certain, an angel would NEVER want to frighten you in any possible way. This is why as soon as you feel afraid, the angel is gone and doesn't come back. It is the same whether you are dreaming or not. Their function is to bring you love and peace and messages from above. They are companions and confidantes always waiting in the wings for you to ask them for help. Fear can keep any angel from appearing to you simply because they love SO much, that to inflict any sort of pain is intolerable for them.

Keep working on your journal and don't forget to ask your angel to make itself known to you in such a way that you will not be afraid. Dreams are a great starting place. Why not ask your angel to be in your dream as something you would recognize but not be afraid of. Lots of times I have dreams where my angels come as children. They always identify themselves and in the dream I laugh because they are so small but it really works!
