Anxiety


An Angel Reminder: We have everything we need to control
everything we need to control.

Anxiety is really only an alarm bell, urging us to slow down, let go
and call on the angels. We experience anxiety only when we feel
out of control. But when we realize that, with the exception of our
own actions and responses, we can or need to control very little
else in life, we have taken our first step toward inner peace. The
angels are anxiety busters; we can call on them whenever we need
them, even for the smallest requests and especially for the smallest
fears. So when you start to feel out of control and panicked, don't
just ignore the problem and put on a stiff upper lip. Instead, admit
that you're feeling anxious and then surrender to the angels,
knowing that they will restore your inner balance. All you have to
do is trust them when they tell you that everything is going to be all
right!

If you feel that anxiety is getting the best of you, immediately
take time out from what you are doing. Lie down if you can or
sit comfortably, and begin to breathe deeply, allowing to the
air to glide gently into your abdomen. As you breathe,
imagine that the angels are bathing you in a restful golden
light. Continue to breathe and feel the warmth of this light
permeate your being. Start to repeat in your mind:
"Everything is going to be all right." Keep repeating this, and
allow yourself to feel calmed by the protective embrace of the
angels.

An Angelic Reflection: Next time I start to panic I will
surrender to the angels, allowing myself to be protected by
their love and guided by their wisdom.
